As an Early Start student, you will begin earning your Pharm.D. in May and take introductory courses over the summer. This will result in you taking fewer hours of didactic coursework during each summer term. You will progress through the rest of the curriculum alongside students who choose Standard Start, and graduate at the same time as they do.
Your last three semesters in the program will consist exclusively of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) rotations. Each rotation will require at least40 hours of weekly, in-person work, with the possibility of an additional time commitment depending on your APPE topic and your preceptor’s requirements.
