Online Pathway Time Commitment
Your time commitment each semester will depend on which start date you choose. We offer two annual start dates: Early Start, for students who want to begin the program in May, and Standard Start, which begins in September.
Early Start vs. Standard Start: What’s the Difference?
Aside from the difference in start date, there are two differences between the Early Start and Standard Start schedule.
Early Start: Students will complete 12 total terms. Each summer term will require 20–25 hours of didactic work per week.
Standard Start: Students will complete 11 total terms. Each summer term will require 30–35 hours of didactic work per week.
Both starts include 3–4 weeks of full-time IPPE rotations in summers two and three, and full-time APPE rotations in the fourth summer.
